Why did the chicken cross the road?

To get to the other side!! HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!
We have been telling jokes after our story time and the kids think it is the best thing! So do I! I love to hear them laugh...it is the best when they do it together. I will try to get some video of it. They all laugh and most have no idea what they are laughing at. So, if you have a joke that you think your child will remember, practice it with them and they can tell it to all the kids. Some of our popsicle sticks have jokes on them as well, so we have been saving them to "read". It is too funny when they stand up in front of everyone and try to copy the joke they just heard, or they just make one up..or do a knock-knock joke, but they answer it themself. :) Good times really!

ZzzzZzzzZzzz

What a day for Dylan! This was his first day of running in the sprinklers with the kids. He loved it! He could not get enough of it. He went down the slide about 30 times. Something about a wet slippery slide and the kids think we have a new toy. ;-)
Dylan had been eating his lunch for about 3 minutes when I noticed he was going in and out of sleep. Before I could take him out I had to grab a couple of pics!

Snips and {snails}, and puppy dog tails...

Our SuPeRhErOeS!! These pics are going back to last summer.

Superman=Cameron Spiderman=Isaac
Batman=Jayden

These boys were the best of friends and loved doing everything together. Spencer was not here on this day put he was part of the pact also. It was a sad day when Isaac went to all day Kindergarten.

On this day Isaac came to play, he had no school. The boys were so excited to have him over...we even called Spencer to come over also.

I am trying to get the 4 of them to take a few {fun} photo ops. But with the sun, grass and other little kids trying to sneak into the pics this was the best. Not to bad...

BFF's!

SpLiSh sPlAsH...we're swimming with a GIRAFFE

The kids were so excited to go swimming in the new Giraffe pool, we didn't even have a day to wait for everyone to bring their swimsuits! I did have to convince Ava that a swim diaper is not the same as a diaper and she would not be a baby if she wore one. It was all we had for her to wear. And Abby took a little convincing as well that it was ok if she wore {boy shorts} just this once. Okay, swim attire~check. Sunscreen~check. All the toys cleaned up~check. Finally we were outside watching Malissa blow up the pool. {With an air tank!} Then we had to fill up the pool. I think most of the kids were soaked before they even got into the pool. Thank you Malissa and {the rain storm} with the hose. After about 5 minutes some of the kids were cold and looking for a towel. Oops, we forgot to bring out towels. That is what the sun and the drive-way is for. Zach had an ear infection so he wasn't able to go in but still had a blast! We had a great time and can't wait to go again!

Twinkle Toes

Everyday the kids want to go swimming in 'the big pool'. Everyday I tell them, not yet the water is too cold. So, after 8 + kids asking every day...I gave in. Kind of. I told the kids we could put our toes in ONLY. We do this just about everyday. One day they all got a little crazy out there...and let's just say everybody had to strip down before we could come in the house. We also had to run a load of laundry while everyone napped. :)

P.S. Thanks to Spencer and Eliza for our yummy green Spring cookies!

Fancy Nancy

Or in this case Fancy Bryant and Fancy Brady! I guess this is what happens when you spend the day with a house full of girls. You learn to play dress up with the best of them. We think it is pretty funny that they each only wear one shoe. We'll cut them a break...they are heels.
